What we fix

Six jobs we take on every week

If your job sits outside this list, send it through anyway — we will tell you honestly whether it is ours to do.

Leak detection & repair

Damp patches, ticking meters and quiet drips behind walls, traced before the plaster comes off.

  • Pressure testing on supply lines
  • Concealed pipe tracing
  • Section replacement in copper or PEX

Blocked drains

Slow sinks, gurgling floor wastes and yard gullies that back up after rain.

  • Machine clearing of the blockage
  • Camera check on repeat offenders
  • Root and grease advice afterwards

Hot water systems

Lukewarm showers, rusty water or a unit that has simply stopped.

  • Element, valve and thermostat repairs
  • Like-for-like replacements
  • Sizing advice before you upgrade

Burst pipes

The job that cannot wait. Isolate, make safe, then repair properly rather than patch.

  • Water isolated on arrival
  • Permanent repair, not a clamp
  • Report you can pass to an insurer

Bathroom & kitchen fit-outs

Rough-in through to fit-off, sequenced around your tiler and cabinetmaker.

  • Set-out agreed before walls close
  • Mixer, waste and trap installation
  • Final pressure and drainage checks

Taps & toilets

The small list you have been meaning to sort out, cleared in one visit.

  • Washer, cartridge and seal renewal
  • Running and rocking toilet fixes
  • New tapware swapped over

How a job runs

Four steps, no surprises

The same order every time, whether it is a dripping tap or a full second bathroom.

  1. Tell us the job

Send the form with what is happening and where. We reply with questions only if the job genuinely needs them.

  2. Book a window

You get a date and a two-hour arrival window, plus a message when the van is on its way.

  3. Quote in writing

We look, we explain the options in plain terms, and you approve a written figure before work starts.

  4. Fix and tidy

The repair is tested in front of you, the area is cleaned down, and the old parts leave with us.

The copper standard

Work that still looks right in five years

Anyone can stop a leak today. The difference is in what the next plumber finds when they open the same wall.

  • Materials matched to the runCopper where heat and pressure demand it, modern piping where it is the better answer — never whatever is closest on the shelf.
  • Joints tested before they are hiddenEvery new section is pressure-checked while it is still visible, so nothing is closed up on trust alone.
  • Access left for the futureIsolation valves and inspection points go in where they belong, so the next repair is an hour rather than a day.
  • One plumber on your jobThe person who quotes the work is the person who does it, so nothing is lost in the handover.

Before you book

Questions we answer daily

How is the work priced?

Most jobs are quoted as a fixed price once we have seen them, so you approve a figure rather than watch a clock. Longer renovation work is staged, with each stage quoted before it begins.

Do you handle after-hours emergencies?

Burst pipes and uncontrolled leaks are treated as urgent and fitted in ahead of routine work. Mark the job as urgent in the form and describe what you can see.

I rent. Can I book the repair myself?

You can send the details, but the person responsible for the property needs to approve the quote before work starts. We are happy to send the written quote straight to them.

Who supplies the parts and fittings?

We carry common parts on the van and they appear as a line on the quote. If you have already bought your own tapware or a specific unit, bring it to our attention and we will fit it where it is suitable.

What happens if the problem returns?

Tell us and we come back. Our labour on a completed repair is guaranteed, and manufacturer cover on any part we supply is passed to you in writing with the invoice.

Tell us what the water is doing

A short description is usually enough. We reply with a booking window, or with questions if the job needs them.

We use your details for this job only. No newsletters, no passing them on.
